Welcome to Developer Bump ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our freelancer platform (https://developer-bump.com), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of our platform.

2. Platform Overview

Developer Bump is a platform that connects freelancers with clients for project collaboration. We provide the infrastructure for communication, project management, and payment processing, but are not a party to the service agreements between users.

3. Account Registration

To access platform features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activities under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Submit false or misleading information in your profile or project proposals
• Attempt to circumvent platform fees or payment systems
• Share malicious content or engage in harmful activities
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others

5. Project Agreements

Freelancers and clients are responsible for defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and terms. Developer Bump facilitates but does not guarantee project success or quality. All project agreements are directly between the freelancer and client.

6. Payments and Service Fees

Developer Bump charges a service fee for each completed project. Payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers. You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes associated with your use of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, graphics, logos, and materials are the property of Developer Bump or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their work products and intellectual property developed through projects, unless otherwise agreed between freelancer and client.

8. Newsletter Subscription

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails about platform updates, project opportunities, and relevant content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link in each email or by contacting us at contact@developer-bump.com.

9. Dispute Resolution

Developer Bump provides dispute resolution services for project-related conflicts between users. You agree to participate in good faith in mediation before pursuing other remedies. Platform decisions on disputes are final regarding fund distribution.

10. Limitation of Liability

Developer Bump acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality, delivery, or outcome of services provided by freelancers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Developer Bump and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform or interactions with other users.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform.

12. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Developer Bump. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time, subject to completion of active projects and payment obligations.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
